Skalvar Technologies · Wismar

We are working towards independent cybersecurity for Europe: developed in Germany and run on our own servers in Germany. Small and medium-sized companies get protection from us that fits their size. We work honestly and responsibly, and look for ways in which both sides win.

  • IndependentSecurity from Germany, for Europe.
  • SovereignBased in Wismar, hosted on our own servers in Germany.
  • FairWe only win when you win too.

Vision

We see a Europe in which every company can protect itself effectively, whatever its size. A Europe in which knowledge about attacks flows to where it is needed, and in which solutions interlock instead of standing side by side. Where no known paths lead, we explore new ones.

03Server log files

With every request our web server automatically stores information your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the address requested, the page visited before (referrer), browser type and version, and operating system.

We need this information to provide the website securely and without errors and to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose.

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps towards one, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR otherwise. Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure

CVD Policy

How we receive and handle reports of vulnerabilities. The same rules are also available in machine-readable form.

Last updated: 15 October 2026 · Valid until 1 September 2027

01Scope

This policy covers https://skalvar.de and the content served from it. Subdomains are not included. Our products run under their own domains and have their own reporting channels.

02What we ask

We accept reports, but we do not invite active testing. This page grants no permission to test our systems and nothing in it should be read as such. Please keep to what is needed to demonstrate the issue.

  • Do not access third-party data and do not alter data that is not yours.
  • Do nothing that degrades the service: no load testing, no denial of service, no spam.
  • No automated scanning, no fuzzing, no credential testing.
  • Do not publish details before the issue is fixed or we have agreed a date together.

Keep to that and report a finding in good faith, and you have nothing to fear from us.

03What belongs in a report

  • The affected asset or address.
  • The type of vulnerability.
  • A description sufficient to follow the behaviour.
  • The steps that reproduce it.
  • How to reach you.

Proof of exploitation is not required. A report without an exploit is just as welcome.

04What you can expect from us

Receipt acknowledged
48 hours
Then a status update every
30 days

We tell you how we assess the report, including when we do not treat it as a vulnerability. We credit you as the finder on request once the issue is resolved. If a deadline cannot be met, we say so before it passes.
